Spring Covid Boosters
NHS England are beginning to send texts to those over 75 inviting them to book their spring covid booster. May we ask that you do not call the surgery regarding this text as we are not administering spring covid boosters. If you call, we will direct you to 119 where you will be able to book an appointment.
Patient demand on our service is very high right now
We have seen a significant increase in the number of patients contacting us for help. Just like our community, we are also feeling the effects of covid-19 and winter pressures, meaning our workforce is significantly reduced at times. This has been the same all across the UK.
If you have any non-urgent queries and are struggling to get through by telephone, please take advantage of our eConsult service and we will get back to you as soon as we can. We thank you for your patience and understanding.
In April 2022, our reception team took 5883 incoming calls and made 1525 outgoing calls.
Welcome to The Avenue Surgery in Warminster
Giving the best possible care for every patient
The Avenue Surgery is the home of the longest established medical practice in Warminster.
The surgery is a purpose built building with ten consultation rooms, several treatment rooms, and a nurses’ suite, built around a small courtyard.
Outside, there is a dedicated set-down area immediately next to the main entrance, for the less-able and disabled. There is also extensive parking nearby.
We also have a remote site at Station Road with five treatment rooms and administration areas on the first floor.
Our staff are committed to providing quality healthcare for the benefit of all of our patients.
Access doors to both buildings have appropriate ramps, and are wide enough for wheelchairs.
